Fire Hydrant System

Description

An essential part of fire safety systems, fire hydrant systems provide a ready supply of water needed to put out fires. It is composed of well-established subterranean pipes and valves that are fixed on stand pipes, allowing firefighters to quickly connect hoses for water draw. These devices are placed in fire-prone areas, such as close to roads, buildings, and industrial plots. There are two primary varieties: wet-barrel hydrants, which always contain water, and dry-barrel hydrants, which are typically used in cold climates. For a hydrant system to be used effectively in an emergency, it should be inspected and maintained on a regular basis.
