Pre Action System

Description

A pre-action system is a type of fire suppression system that helps prevent unintentional water leaks that occur when the system is activated by pulling two triggers. This system, which is somewhat similar to dry pipe and deluge systems, is commonly installed in computer rooms, telecommunications rooms, museums, and any other location with sensitive and costly equipment. This includes the pre-action valve, which stays closed and holds water until certain things happen, like heat or smoke. The sprinkler only activates when the system’s heads detect heat, even though it floods the pipes with water when it is turned on. A two-tier approach like this significantly reduces the risk of flooding from false alarms.
